The project documents an iterative exchange between creative direction, story structure, and generative AI suggestions.

6H05T.NET / THE LAST STAND · UNPUBLISHED DEVELOPMENT NOTES

From worldbuilding to prequel

  1. May 2023 — Imagining the future

Initial development of The Last Stand, including the Sentinels, Remnants, decentralized network, fictional technology, and four-act novel outline.

  2. July 2023 — Working backward

Exploration of a prequel that would examine the origins of the resistance and the social conditions leading toward the imagined dystopian future.

  3. July 16–31, 2023 — Publishing The Society

Release of the 16-chapter narrative following Charles, Jxsper, and the emergence of the x5 Society through Creative Bytes.

  4. 2025–2026 — Archiving the experiment

Retrospective documentation of the fiction, development materials, and collaborative process, including AI-assisted construction of the archive website.

Two phases of AI-assisted collaboration

Fiction development in 2023: The original human–AI exchanges explored the novel premise, plot structure, alternate subplots, character development, and narrative perspective. These materials document an exploratory development process and preserve ideas under consideration.

Archive construction in 2026: AI assistance was also used later to build and organize this website as a retrospective archive. That work presents the earlier fiction and development record; it is distinct from the 2023 AI-assisted exploration of the fictional world.

From premise to possible novel

The source document begins with a description and synopsis, then develops an outline for 6h05t.net: The Last Stand. The working sequence explores a four-act plot, potential subplots, the fictional setting, themes, conflict, and sensory details.

Human–AI dialogue

The Notion material includes conversational exchanges about how to turn an outline into a novel. Some passages are model-generated explanatory advice, including suggested subplot possibilities, character development guidance, and ways to intensify scenes. The record should be read as a working dialogue rather than a fully authored lore bible.

Point of view

The notes explore first-person, third-person limited, and third-person omniscient perspectives, compare how novels and television series use them, and record concern about making the choice. The final source discussion presents third-person limited, centered on Alex, as a workable option with a balance of intimacy and flexibility. It does not record a settled point-of-view decision.

Worldbuilding as process

The development record moves between macro-level systems, such as political power, cybernetics, and decentralized communications, and personal-level concerns involving love, responsibility, loyalty, and identity.

Its value is partly in revealing possibilities that were considered but never finalized. Readers can observe how a fictional system was sketched, questioned, and expanded over time.
